What is a Professional Organizer?

Professional Organizers are specialists in creating structure in every sense of the word. A Professional Organizer enhances the lives of clients by designing systems and processes using organizing principles and through transferring organizing skills. A Professional Organizer also educates on organizing solutions and resulting benefits.

How can you take control of your surroundings, your time, your paperwork, and your systems for life? The Professional Organizer can help you answer those questions.

You can turn to a Professional Organizer for help when you have:

  • too many things
  • lack of overview
  • lack of time
  • stress in making choices
  • a need to develop your organizing skills
  • a need to develop you structuring skills

What to expect?

The result is concrete: an organized home, a desk without piles of paperwork, a smooth running agenda and an efficient manner of handling mail and e-mail. However, the most important result is that your quality of life improves and that this gives you a sense of relaxation:

  • peace and overview
  • gain in time and energy

When working with a Professional Organizer, the client is always the key factor. After an intake interview, where problems and wishes will be discussed, the Professional Organizer will propose a plan of action, which can result in:

  • a clean up, organizing activity of one or more consecutive days together with the Professional Organizer;
  • periodic meetings of limited length, in which each time part of the project will be addressed;
  • the Professional Organizer taking over the project;
  • regular (telephone) advice sessions.

At the end of the project, there will be an evaluation, either by visit or by phone. The clean up project is never a target in itself. It is a way to create peace, space, overview and balance to enable the client to design his/her life the way he/she wants. Each client is highly respected without any prejudice.
